LAKE FOREST – Police are looking for a man who robbed an AT&T store at gunpoint on Monday.

The man, described as African American, six-feet-one, between 180 to 200 pounds and wearing a gray shirt, is accused of going into the retail store in the 23000 block of El Toro Road at 9:13 a.m., Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Roland Chacon said.

Chacon said the man wore a stocking over his head and was armed with a handgun when he entered the store. He forced employees into a back room and forced the manager to unlock the safe, Chacon said.

“He took an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running away from the store,” Chacon said.

No one was hurt during the robbery. Deputies responded immediately and searched the area, Chacon said.

Investigators are following leads. Chacon said the man suspected in the robbery has a black backpack with six red diamonds on the back panel.
